The Icons Award

Celebrating and rewarding success is the essence of The Icons Awards Africa. The sixth edition spotlights
remarkable individuals with positive impacts locally and globally in the last year; individuals who are
driven with passion, consistency, tenacity, and social impact

Procedure:

1. Nominations:
● Compile and shortlist nominees.
● Outreach to shortlisted nominees.
● Announcement of final nominees.

2. Voting:
● Announcement of the winner. (Note: Winner will be announced on the day of the event.)
● Certificate of nomination will be presented to all nominees.

Please Note ICONS AWARD is free and is based on merit.

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY

● Nominees must fall within any of the categories.
● Nominees must have an online presence.
● Nominees must be present at the main event.

HOW TO NOMINATE

There are three ways you can nominate your Icons
1. The nomination page: Fill the form correctly and submit your application.
● Nominees’ biography (maximum of 150 words) including success stories, contribution to the
society and impact on people.
● High resolution headshot or a full picture of the nominee.
● Nominee’s email address, phone number, Instagram handle, or any means of reaching nominee if
selected by the award panel.
● A sample of the Nominees work (either picture format or content format)

2. Use the hashtag #iconsawardsnomination24 and your category

3. Tag your nominee under the comment section of the category on our IG platform or LinkedIn
platform or any other platform you found us.
